Trending: Classic Pare® Titos and Titas of Manila

How do you define a generation? The recent trending Facebook closed group “Classic Pare® Titos and Titas of Manila” may have captured the essence of a generation who shared a collective thought brought about by common experiences defined by objects, television shows, celebrities, games, food items, cosmetics, and many more just to mention a few. It is astounding to note that the members do not know one another but the degree of connectivity is tremendous! It is not measured in terms of likes and number of friends but rather on the similarities brought about by their thoughts, emotions, and aspirations on a time when people value interaction with their friends and acquaintances instead of within the screen of their phones or gadgets only. The memories were borne from actual experiences and not from meme captured image posted on social network.

It is worthwhile to note that the advancement of technology enabled those experiences buried deep in the psyche of those who lived on that age to be reminisced for the younger generations to know that at one point their Titos and Titas found enjoyment and created so much fun memories not from images shared in social media but from everyday things and events.

When “Classic Pare® Titos and Titas of Manila” was introduced on Facebook just recently, the response of the Titos and Titas from different parts of the world was truly overwhelming. The closed group garnered a total of 152,000 + members as of yesterday afternoon and counting.

Hahaha. This is too aliw. Though I cant remember anymore the socks with the red ruffles. Menudo was my fave before, got a poster pa. Ihihi.

    • Hahaha! Thanks, Berlin! I used to wear white knee socks and the ones with lace ruffles. Gandang-ganda ang nanay ko sa akin kapag nakasuot ako niyan! I loved Menudo too at si Charlie ang most favorite ko. :)
