Applying makeup makes every girl excited and happy. What makes it more exciting is there are a wide array of products and colors to choose from. She can also wear as much or little as she wants. What matters most is she knows how to wear makeup that suits her skin undertone, age, personality, and is right for the occasion.
For a teenage girl who is in senior high or college, she may or may not wear makeup and it depends on the school policy regarding it. But if she is allowed to do so, here is a natural makeup look that suits her age. It’s a look that can enhance her natural beauty, not overpowering or overwhelming, and doesn’t make her look old for her age. Best of all, the routine is not going to waste her time. All she needs to consume is 10 minutes or maybe less to achieve it.
If you want to do it, all you need are the things below:
- Tinted moisturizer that matches your skin tone
- Cream blusher
- Creamy brown eye pencil
- Eyelash Curler
- Black or brown mascara
- Eyebrow brush or old toothbrush
- Pink or clear lip gloss
Here are the easy steps:
1. Moisturize and Conceal.
Tie your hair back. Wash your face and pat it dry. Dot moisturizer on it with your finger and smooth it in gently. Dot a little concealer over any spots, blemishes or dark shadows, and blend it in well with the tip of your finger.
2. Apply blusher.
Dab blusher on your cheeks using your fingertips. Then smooth the blusher outwards and upwards towards your hairline carefully.
3. Apply eye pencil.
Carefully draw a pencil line across your eyelid, next to your eyelashes. Smooth the color over your eyelid, using a cotton bud or your fingertip.
4. Curl lashes and apply mascara.
Carefully clamp the eyelash curlers around your top lashes. Hold them shut for a minute and then open them again. Hold a mirror at chin level to brush mascara on to your top lashes. Look straight ahead in the mirror to do your bottom lashes but it’s optional.
5. Brush your eyebrows.
First, wet your finger and smooth it over each eyebrow in the direction it grows. Use an old toothbrush or an eyebrow brush to brush your eyebrows upwards.
6. Paint your lips with lip gloss.
Paint lip gloss carefully onto your lips using lip brush. Apply it from the middle of your lips towards the edge of the mouth to avoid making it run and look messy.
A finished natural look makes you look fresh and prettier. Practice makes perfect. When you do, you can finish it perfectly in less than ten minutes.
