SunPIOLOGY Run 2016 is an afternoon fun run happening on the 19th of November 2016, 4 o’clock at the Camp Aguinaldo parade grounds in Quezon City. This year’s theme aims to increase diabetes awareness among Filipinos. Unlike other fun runs, SunPIOLOGY has four obstacles you have to pass through in order to progress with the run: Dance Diabetes Away LED (3K, 5K, 10K), Spot My Symptoms Hole (3K, 5K, 10K), Run Away from Diabetes (3K, 5K, 10K) and Jump for Points (5K, 10K).
Sun Life wants to encourage all the Filipinos to adopt and maintain a healthy, active lifestyle thus making this event available to kids and adults.
Race Distance and Fee:
500 meter dash for Kids and 500 meter walk for Adults – P350 registration fee
3K – P700 registration fee
5K – P800 registration fee
10K – P900 registration fee
Pre-race inclusions are singlet and racing bib with timing chip. Loot bags with sponsor freebies and drinks await participants after the race.
Online registration at http://runrio.com/sunpiology-2016-sugar-war/ is from September 29 to November 6, 2016. An additional fee of P150 will be collected for the delivery of race kit. In-store registration will be available starting October 18 to November 17, 2016, Monday to Sunday from 12 noon to 8 in the evening at RUNNR Store BGC, RUNNR Store Trinoma, Toby’s Shangri-la and Toby’s MOA.
Star Magic celebrities will be joining Piolo and you will get a chance to run alongside your favorite celebrity or even have a selfie with them. There will also be an after-run show to launch Inigo Pascual’s debut album featuring the official Sun Life Go Well jingle “Live Life Brighter” and some surprise performances.
