Pilipinas Got Talent Season 6 Highlights: Episodes 5 & 6

Pilipinas Got Talent Season 6 episodes are getting more and more exciting as talents chosen from auditions all over the country get to face the four judges: The Unkabogable, Vice Ganda; Astig na Idol, Robin Padilla; Award-winning Versatile Actress and one of the Philippines’ sexiest women, Angel Locsin, and The Starmaker and Boss Freddie “FMG” Garcia.

The following talents graced the show:
Sebby Hernandez

15 years old, Olongapo City

Skate Boarding Stunts

Sebby Hernandez

Despite Sebby’s awesome stunts, the judges all agreed that this young lad’s performance was still lacking. Angel voted yes because she didn’t want to destroy the boy’s dream while Robin did the same because Sebby wanted “Yes” for an answer when being asked by the latter. FMG and Vice voted “no”.

 

Victor Geronimo

51 years old, Quezon City

Victor didn’t make it on the next round but his rendition of Justin Bieber’s “Baby ft. Ludacris” made everybody laughed out loud on his entire performance. Victor used to be a comedian and stunt man in the late 90’s. Vice remembered him because he used to belong to the group of funny performers “Hung Hunks”. Robin thanked him for his help as one of his stunt instructors in two of his movies including “Ang Utol Kong Hoodlum”. Only Robin gave a yes vote to his performance.

Judges’ unforgettable comments:

FMG: “Ang ganda ng pagkapangit ng pagkanta mo. Ang maganda sa’yo, malakas ang loob mo.”

Angel Locsin : “May mali sa’yo pero na-entertain mo ang mga tao.”

 

Orville Torido

32 years old, Manila

Lip Sync

Orville Torido

Orville had a very funny and well-executed  lip sync performance of Maja Salvador’s “Dahan-Dahan”.  He mentioned that Vice was their former neighbor in Tambunting. He got four yes votes.

Judge’s unforgettable comment:

Vice: “Sobrang simple pero nakatutuwa!”

 

JM Bayot

21 years old, Cavite

Vape Smoke Tricks

JM Bayot

JM offered his performance to his OFW mom in Italy. If he could make it until the end of the season, he would ask his mom to go back to Philippines so that they could stay together as a family. His performance garnered four yes votes and a standing ovation from Robin.

Judges’ unforgettable comments:

Robin: “Proper timing!”

Angel: “Extraordinary talent!”

FMG: “Bago… Hindi pa ako nakakikita ng ganyang performance!”

 

Karl Luigi Villareal aka Karl Matrix

30 years old, Cavite

Illusion TV Magic

Karl Matrix

Karl’s creative performance was his means to start moving on from a heart break. He got four yes votes.

Judges’ unforgettable comments:

FMG: “It’s a synchronization of animation and live performance.”

Robin: “Nabibilib ako sa animation na may tao sa loob. Ngayon ako nakikita ng live version.”

 

Kimberly Collado

26 years old, Cagayan Valley

Singing and Instrument Performance

Kimberly Collado

Kimberly’s heartwarming performance touched the hearts of everyone. She offered her performance to her grandmothers who took good care of her since she was orphaned at a very young age.

Judge’s unforgettable comment:

Vice: “Babaan mo ang tono ng kanta mo dahil maganda na ang tunog ng instrument.”

After this comment, Vice requested her to choose a song that she wanted to sing to her grandmothers. She chose the song “Can’t Help Falling In Love” by Elvis Presley because it’s her grandmothers’ favorite. This performance got a standing ovation from Angel and Vice and brought everyone to tears. Kimberly got four yes votes.

Sinag Dance Group

13-35 years old, 101 performers, Bulacan

Sinag Dance Group

Vice asked the performers how many were they. Their leader answered five. To everybody’s surprise, they were 101 in all. Sinag Dance Group’s performance might not be perfectly synchronized but they liven up the stage and set everybody’s mood to keep on dancing! They got a total of three votes from Angel, Robin, and FMG.

Judge’s unforgettable comment:

FMG: “Masaya kayong panoorin.”

 

Julius Obero and Rhea Marquez

33 and 24 years old, Pasig City

Wheel Chair Dance

Julius and Rhea

Julius’ handicap didn’t hinder him to develop and perform an “unconditional talent” as mentioned by Vice . Julius and Rhea’s graceful and heart-felt dance number captured the hearts of the audience especially the judges that made Angel hit the Golden Buzzer. The duo automaticall made it straight to the semifinals.

Judge’s unforgettable comment:

Robin: “Julius, habang umiikot ka, nakikita ko na nasa likod mo ang bandila ng Pilipinas.”
