What you missed during BGC Passionfest 2017’s revelry of passions weekend

Weekends are always a great time to bond with families and friends. Family-oriented Bonifacio Global City held an all weekend-long set activities at the Bonifacio High Street (BHS) from November 24 to 26 to celebrate this year’s Bonifacio Global City Passionfest.

This year’s theme is ‘FestivALL in Seasons’, where BGCitizens and guests get to feel the vibe of summer, fall, winter, and spring and turn the whole stretch of BHS into one full street of  festivities for ‘Season of Passions.’

Here are the various activities you missed at BGC’s culminating event for this year:

The Summer Block offered free bike lessons by the National Bike Organization, Shop Guam E-booth  hold a face painting session and NutriAsia and Locally Juice Food Trucks offered samples and yummy treats.

Other activities included painting activities and creating D-I-Y items like dream-catchers and eco-friendly cases. The most exciting parts for the kids and kids at heart were the Aquaball and Bungee jumping activities.

The Autumn Block at the 7th Avenue taught BGcitizens how to indulge their artistic side or refine their craft by making their own terrarium, or rubber stamps. The Philippine Obstacle Sports Federation hold outdoor activities at the Bambike Art Tour & Bambino Park. Children get to play with larger-than-life inflatables.

The Spring Block between 7th Avenue and 5th Avenue had a Gourmand Market where we had our fill of flavorful dishes.

The winter block at the 9th Avenue become the stage for soulful performances by Joey Ayala, John Lesaca, and other talented local acts of today performing homegrown music.

R&B singer Quest hold a free concert by brought to us by Globe Live.

Colorful community parade and street dance competition on November 26, 2017.

For the BGC Arts Festival, an #ArtBGC2017 Murals Art Tour showcased the newest murals that add to BGC’s artistic vibe.

The ‘Champions of Passion: Soulful Feast of the Arts,’ opened with a string of plays, dance, musicals, improvs, workshops, and music prepared by various artistic productions;

The BGC Art Mart at the Alveo Central Plaza offers arts & crafts items made by creative hands of our young Filipino artists;

And lastly, the Gat Andres Bonifacio High School had a makeover done by volunteers where they got to paint and brighten the classrooms of BGC’s adopted school.

It was indeed an exciting weekend for the city’s top community. For more information about BGC Passionfest 2017 and the Arts Center Festival, visit BGC’s official Facebook pages at Bonifacio Global City, Bonifacio High Street, and the BGC Arts Center.
