Cynthia Thomalla, the country’s representative to the Miss Eco International 2018 won the title. The competition aims to promote eco-tourism and also help cancer survivors. The pageant was held from April 10 to 27 in Cairo, Egypt. It was held on April 27 local time from 9:00 pm to 11:00 pm and was broadcast via FB live streaming.
There are more than 70 beautiful environmental ambassadors Miss Eco International celebrates this year its 4th edition with wider audience reach.

She is the first Asian to win the coveted title after Slovenia, Costa Rica and Canada. The pageant initially started in 2015.
The 5’7″ beauty queen bested all other competitors in the recently held finals. She has consistently performed in the competition after placing top 10 in three minor competitions, namely Miss Talent, Best in Eco-Dress and Resorts wear.

“What do you think is the most important thing that beauty pageants add to the world?”
“I think that the most relevant thing that beauty queens can add to the world is raising awareness on our own causes. For example, the Miss Eco Internationalis raising the advocacy of sustainable tourism and
protecting the environment. That is the main point of doing beauty pageants.by raising our voices to help the earth.”

Ms. Cynthia Thomalla won a diplomatic passport valid for 6 years, cash prize and sponsorship packages.
She will get the chance to stay at the fabulous Calimera Habiba Eco Resort, known as the “green paradise” during her reign and will have a chance to travel the world.
