Metro magazine and lifestyle website Metro.Style collaborate to unveil a list of 50 empowered and fashion-forward women in Metro Most Stylish 2018—with chic Anne Curtis and sultry Lovi Poe tied up at the lead.
Both reigning at Top 1, Metro magazine honor Anne and Lovi on their February issue covers as they undeniably have the eyes of the whole country on them with their alluring personalities, elegant gowns at events, and trendy but polished streetwear.
Year 2017 was filled with standout fashion moments for Anne. The “it-girl” stunned in that striking red ball-gown to close one of Michael Leyva’s bridal fashion shows. Countlessly, she amazed in girly ensembles, Korean-inspired outfits, or up-and-coming foreign designers’ looks in her daily hosting gigs on “It’s Showtime.” She even made jaws drop on her Metro Weddings magazine feature as she glowed in nothing but a Mich Dulce veil.
On her wedding day, Anne was able to showcase her style by wearing two iconic bridal designers at her wedding: Vera Wang for the welcome dinner, and Monique Lhuillier for the big day.
Lovi also tops the list with her daring style. Her elegance especially caught the public’s attention during the Vicki Belo and Hayden Kho wedding in Paris, mesmerizing the public in her black, backless Mark Bumgarner gown. From her Stacy Rodriguez satin dress to her Andrea Tetangco dress, and her memorable meet-and-greet with Eddie Redmayne (during which she admitted to tripping on her Patricia Santos dress out of excitement), Lovi’s outfits during her Europe trip were to die for.
Other notable driven women with a fab sense of style in the list are Heart Evangelista, Jess Wilson, Korina Sanchez-Roxas, Tootsy Angara, Charo Santos-Concio, Marie Lozano, Pia Wurtzbach, Julia Barretto, Isabelle Daza, Maxene Magalona, and Karen Davila.
