Eating at Brazil Brazil!

If you’re a meat-loving foodie like me, there is one place to satisfy your palate – Brazil Brazil! They are famous for their churassco (grilled meat) style cooking. There used to be several branches all over Metro Manila such as Alabang Town Center and Metrowalk. So far, only three branches remain now – one in Greenfield District in Mandaluyong (where I dined), one in Rockwell Center in Makati and the other is in Bonifacio Global City. They have a special “eat all you can” promo which is very affordable. This can only be availed during lunch and dinner time, 290 Php and 389 Php respectively (it is best to come at lunch time). This does not include drinks, by the way.

As soon as you come in, inform the staff you want to avail of the buffet. After you are given a table, you may proceed to the buffet table and get what you want. The buffet meals serve to compliment the grilled items to be served later. The waiters will issue you a disc or yo-yo with green color on one side and red on the other. Put the green side up to signify that you want to be served the grilled foods which are part of the buffet. This will go on until you put the red side up if you want the servers to stop.

The grilled foods served vary. They are served in random sequence, depending on what is cooked first. There’s beef sirloin, pork belly, chicken breast, Italian sausage, and there’s even pork “maskara,” the pig’s face used in making sisig. The only seafood grilled is cuttlefish. They also grill corn, bananas and pineapple. You can even request a specific grilled item to be served if you do like a certain item. There is no limit on how many times you like to be served the same item.

My verdict? The food is great! The grilled items are cooked just right. It is up to you how you want it sliced – thin or thick (I prefer thin sliced). The meats are juicy and not dry and the buffet meals may vary. It is for this reason I’ll really come back again!
