Disney on Ice: Everyone’s Story comes to Manila

Disney brings back the Disney on Ice performance in the Philippines. The show is sponsored by PLDT Home/Fibr, Metrobank Card, SM Tickets and SM Lifestyle Entertainment, Inc. Filipinos were treated to a sneak preview of the show last December 23 at the Mall of Asia Arena. As you might expect, Disney’s iconic characters – Mickey Mouse, Minnie, Mouse, Donald Duck and Goofy are there.

Disney on Ice would not be complete without its iconic characters – Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck and Goofy.

What makes this show different from previous ones is this year’s performance is dubbed “Everyone’s Story.” As the title suggests, the show follows a storyline where Donald and Goofy are thinking of a story for a movie they are making. Mickey and Minnie helps them by showing them various stories (from Disney of course) to help them come up with something.

What can the audience Expect?

Expect to see the 50 characters from the recent Disney animated films to appear – characters from Finding Nemo and Finding Dory, Toy Story, The Lion King; Disney “Princes” and “Princesses” from Beauty and the Beast, Tangled, The Little Mermaid, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Aladdin, The Princess and the Frog, Mulan, Frozen and much more. It is hardly a spoiler if you have already watched the aforementioned films. You will get a condensed version of these films, each divided into segments.

As you might expect, the musical numbers of these animated films are performed in an interpretative dance on ice. They are performed by professional figure skaters who come from all over the world. They are guaranteed to give the audience an extravaganza never seen before in the Philippines.

Expect 50 characters from the Disney animated films to make an appearance with song and dance numbers to wow you.

The key to fully appreciating the show is to let the child in you (if you’re an adult) out to make it an unforgettable experience.

The (regular) show will run from December 25, 2017 to January 3, 2018 at the MOA Arena. Tickets will range from 190 PhP (General Admissions) to 2,750 (SVIP). They can be purchased from SM Tickets or SM Cinemas.
