Cerelac invites parents embrace healthy, messy mealtimes

Big nutrition for small tummies.

Nestle Cerelac® will always remain as big nutrition for small tummies.  Each serving of Cerelac® provides the right nutrient balance for the child’s small tummy.  It offers the goodness of natural grains and a blend of nutrients for healthy growth and development.

But more than the nutrition a child gets from a bowl of Cerelac®, Nestle also would like to help parents foster stronger relationships with their little ones through messy but healthy mealtimes.  It is for this aim that Nestle Cerelac® launches the Let’s Eat, Bulilit campaign.

As children start to develop a sense of interest as they grow, this also becomes a definite chance for parents to start introducing them to new tastes and different textures.  The Let’s Eat, Bulilit is Cerelac’s way to help moms and dads make the big step towards complementary feeding.  Of course, it also aims to ensure that their little ones get the nutrition at the right age.

Beyond those nutritious bowls of food, Cerelac® believes that mealtimes open up to fun, memorable bonding session with kids.  It can be a messy experience, but then it should be tolerated.  After all, we are dealing with children and they can be playful, curious even, and sometimes grumpy.  The campaign then promotes ways to make the connection between parents and their little ones stronger through messy but healthy mealtimes.

To help parents and guardians appreciate the campaign even more, Cerelac® set up life-sized installations at the Glorietta 3 Activity Center.

At the activity center, Cerelac® introduces to pair the bowl of infant cereal with fruits and vegetables.  A few examples are broccoli, squash, and sweet potato.  One could even include a few strips of chicken. This is to correct the problem shown in an international study that most children do not meet the recommended vegetable consumption.

Cerelac is a nutrient-dense food with no added preservatives

Unlike common notion that Cerelac® is a junk food, this infant cereal is a nutrient-dense food with no added preservatives.  A bowl of Cerelac® contains almost 1/3 of a child’s daily energy requirement.  It is also a rich source of B Vitamins and Vitamin C, A, and D.  Also included are Calcium, Folic Acid, Iodine, Iron, Phosphorus, Protein, and Zinc.  Aside from these nutrients, Cerelac® also has Protect Plus, a combination of BIFUDUS BL for a healthy digestive system and DHA which is a powerful building block for brain and eye development for youngsters up to three years of age.
