Moonbay Marina Waterpark is the newest and grandest waterpark in your most favorite summer destination in Central Luzon. This waterpark has just opened its doors to the public and summer fanatics can enjoy their summer right in the heart of Subic.
The Wave Pool
Highlighting the waterpark is the 3,000 sq. meters wave pool which is known as the biggest in the province of Zambales. It also has a raging river and a total of 45 small and large cabanas. The waterpark provides tube rentals and inflatable surfboards for the convenience of the swimmers. It also houses billiards and beach volleyball areas to add up to its attractions.
Diners and Refreshment
Aside from the facilities, there are also strips of local and known food stalls in the resort that provide snacks and refreshment to its visitors. It has its own kiosk, the Garden Grill, providing a wide variety of drinks like fruit shakes, milk shakes, sodas, beers, cocktails, mixed drinks, and shots. The water park has its very own restaurant called Captain Andrea’s which offers specialty Filipino dishes, salads and starters, hot pots, sandwiches, desserts, and more! Visitors who wish to just dine in at Captain Andrea’s are welcome with no access to the pools.
During its opening last April 8, SBMA Administrator Wilma Eisma said this new attraction at the premier Freeport, adding up to many more tourist attractions in the area, aims to make the site Luzon’s No. 1 tourist destination. Along with Eisma, SBMA Chairman Martin Dino, Olongapo City Mayor Rolen Paulino and other SBMA officials facilitated the cutting of the ceremonial ribbon.
