Give your makeup brushes the TLC they deserve.

If you happen to own good quality brushes, you’re one lucky girl. Makeup brushes can almost last a lifetime depending on how you take care of them and keep them. In order to make sure your brushes remain in top condition, the rule of thumb is to never leave your brushes dirty. When you leave cosmetics on them (brushes), they are prone to damage and can permanently ruin the bristles. Instead, it’s advisable to regularly wash them using ordinary shampoo (yes, just as you do with your hair!) or perhaps a mild dishwashing liquid will do. Allow them to naturally dry by placing them on a paper towel. Avoid standing them up because they can do more harm than  anything as the water can damage your brushes irreparably.

Refresh your makeup, there’s no need to redo them.

For evening gimmicks and date night-outs, there’s no need to remove or change your makeup from day to  night. The trick is to re-apply a little smeared make-up if you are planning to go out for the night. Soak up the oil and clean your face with a cotton of micellar water or facial spritz to refresh your appearance. Then, blot your face with a tissue. Dust off using face powder to give your skin a velvet touch.
