Atsui Launched Their New Pre-Holiday Collection

Fitness fans, rejoice! Atsui unveiled its 2017 Pre-Holiday Collection at the InterACTVE Pop-Up Showroom in Raffles Residences Lounge. The clothing brand showcased an extensive range of high-performance pieces, which provides stylish, quality active wear for all fitness buffs.

                                                        Humble Beginnings

Atsui started in 2014 when co-founder Leslie Silvestre found out that the fitness wear in the Philippines is expensive and hard to find. A conversation with her husband Homer (who was also the founder) led to create a brand of quality gear in the country. Since they had the means and resources on hand, they created a brand that rivaled the international market in terms of quality but at reasonable prices.

The word Atsui means hot in Japanese, which fits in the company’s philosophy in promoting yoga especially in sports as a whole.

Inspired by the different rivers of Asia, the collection symbolizes the flow and strength of these waters. The way it gives life and promotes progress and stability.

The collection looked good but it is also functional. They used a material Airmov, its basically a breathable yet comfortable material with higher elastaine. Which makes the clothes breathable as well as stretchable without losing shape. Perfect for long extensive workout sessions or heavy sports activities.

Cheonggyecheon Takes the progress of Seoul, where the great river is found. The collection combines the pattern of urban camouflage with topographical maps.
SUMIDA was inspired by the rivers of Tokyo. A contrast of the sakura-tree against the bustling energy of Tokyo.
inspired by the river that bisects Shanghai, Huangpu highlights the historical city of Puxi and Pudong’s modern skyscrapers.
