On a quiet Sunday, ASUS opened the doors to it’s 100th store which is located at Ayala Malls Feliz in Marikina. Though ASUS has never been after the number of stores but more focused on the customer experience, ASUS continues to make its mark known by releasing stores where the demand is strongly felt and today, they are now 100 stores strong.
In an intimate interview with Mr. Jerry Shen, we found out more about what makes ASUS the brand that it is, what to look out for, what to expect, and what are some of the future plans they have for their smart phones, gaming laptop, and consumer notebook. Jerry Shen is the CEO of ASUSTeK Computer Inc. Prior to being appointed CEO in January 2008 Jerry was President of ASUS Open Optimal Platform (AOOP) from 2007–2008.
What makes ASUS a formidable brand to watch out for is the fact that they are not just strong offline but online as well. A lot of brands have suffered with the rise of online shops but ASUS has always had foresight and they are currently one of the top 2 brands of their partner, Lazada.
ASUS phones and laptops as well as accessories can all be bought online for the people who would rather make purchases online but for those who want to have an experience of the item, ASUS has provided 100 stores nationwide with staff ready to answer questions and queries about the product or show a hands on demonstration.
Truly there’s a lot of things that ASUS can offer. While a lot of smartphones are still focused on beautification and their cameras, ASUS has had these for a long time and is now focusing on AI or artificial intelligence in how they handle things. This is what will help ASUS reclaim their posisition in the smartphone industry and we can’t wait to see what else they have to offer.
