Amo Yamie Crib’s Fairy Tale Frappes and Frosts are what happen when you let the chef’s imagination run wild with everything sugar, spice and everything nice. Their overloaded dessert drinks are indeed a sweet tooth’s sweet dream and their cribs make for an interesting hangout.
Amo Yamie Crib is located along Katipunan Avenue and occupies 2 floors at third level of Oracle Hotel and Residences building. An amalgam of two words “amo’ meaning love, and “yamie” for yummy, their concoctions are yummy and easy to love. Amo Yamie Crib has several kinds of honeycomb compartments throughout their space. Customers can cozy up to their booths, cribs and tables and enjoy their many concoctions and food items. AYC has four other branches in the metro for customers to indulge in their dessert drinks and meals.
AYC definitely delivers when it comes to overloaded desserts. Their Pink Unicorn was not only bursting with cream, it was bursting with color. Most unicorn drinks tend to be too sweet and do not know how to balance out the flavors. AYC’s unicorn has a band of chewy sour candy strewn on top of the drink and it does a good job of balancing out the sweetness.

The Drunk Dwarf S’mores looked like a a drink that a happy chocoholic ran amok with everything in the kitchen. It had chocolate drink, cream, chocolate wafers, salty pretzels, toasty marshmallows and rocky road ice cream on stick. If that doesn’t warm the cockles of your sugar-high heart, I don’t know what will.
After the indulgence of the floats and floating on a sugar-high, the Big Bad Moo – their take on the classic salisbury steak and one of their featured meals – is a nice contrast. It’s very affordable for students and quite flavorful.
This is definitely worth coming back to to indulge in more of their crazy floats.
