As they say, “Eat like a king during breakfast.” Unfortunately, due to the demands of a busy life, more people tend to skip their breakfast or resort to taking brunch instead because of the fast paced life they live. But what most people do not realize is that getting yourself a healthy meal is the best way for you to start the day to keep you energized and focused on all your other activities for the entire day.
Burn what you have taken in. Transform those calories into energy. Move, move and move. You may start with basic leg exercises like walking or jogging. If you’re into sports like cycling, that would be better. Later on, when you’r ready, you can move on to more rigorous exercises like Zumba, or intense session of cross fit.
Find a workout partner
It will be easier for anyone to stay committed to one’s goal if you happen to have an accountable partner waiting for you to join him/her. Look for someone who will pull your hand and encourage you to continue your gym classes or would remind you of your Yoga activities for the week each time you feel lazy and almost at the point of giving up. Two heads or more are better working out, monitoring each other’s progress.
Go nature tripping
Flee for a while from the busy, toxic, city life. Every time you get the chance to escape, opt to have an out of town trip. Commune with nature. Breathe fresh air, appreciate the birds’ chirping, the woods and greens that will give you at least some peace and tranquility for some time.
Eat more green leafy veggies
Be kind to your body by filling it with healthy greens. Eat less pork and fatty foods. If you can, try to become a healthy vegan. Make sure your plate is more colorful by adding more fruits and veggies on your diet. It will give your skin a healthier natural glow.
Monitor your progress
Track your progress to know if you’re doing it right and if you’re working closer to your goal. Keep track of your own progress, before and after. You may also document them in photos if you like. Have an initial size or body measurement in order to set more realistic goals. Do check your data development from time to time. Remember that changes doesn’t happen overnight. So each time you achieve something, it’s okay to celebrate (but do not indulge in food).
When you try to follow the tips above, you will soon reap its rewards and see the results. Good luck!
