5 Super hero movies to look forward to this 2018

2018 – a new year, a new beginning for super hero fans everywhere. With so many comic book and hero movies to choose from, there are always a few that stand out! Here are the 5 Super Hero Movies to look forward to this 2018.

1.) Black Panther

Release Date: February 16, 2018

Since his debut in Captain America: Civil War, Black Panther became a fan favorite among Marvel fans. The story takes place after the events of Civil War, where T’Challa (Chadwick Boseman) becomes the new king of Wakanda after his father dies. His rule will be tested by conflict with an old enemy who will challenge it. The hype for this film is real as the director of Creed, Ryan Coogler, is in charge of the film. The trailer alone shows promise as the CG and practical effects bring the world of Wakanda to life.

2.) Pacific Rim Uprising

Release Date: March 23, 2018

Fans of the Kaiju and Mecha are in for a treat as Pacific Rim is back for a sequel! Pacific Rim Uprising takes place a few years after the events of the first film. A once-promising pilot Jake Pentecost abandons his training after his legendary father risked his life to save the world. Now caught in a criminal underworld, his sister Mako Mori gives him a chance to redeem himself by becoming a Jaeger pilot and save humanity.

3.) Deadpool 2

Release Date: June 1, 2018

As a fan of the first movie, this makes this writer’s day. The first Deadpool movie is the highest-grossing R-Rated film and the highest-grossing X-Men film to date. So it’s no surprise that the “Merc with the Mouth” is going to have a sequel. There is no plot leaked about Deadpool 2 yet; all we know is that Deadpool is going to have a new adventure that involves ninjas, the Yakuza, and canines  – in that order. Fans of the comic book series are in for a treat as this movie marks the first appearance of X-men’s Cable and Domino.

4.) Ant- Man and The Wasp

Release Date: July 2018

Set after the events of Captain America: Civil War, Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) finds himself struggling to balance his life as Ant-Man and his responsibilities as a father. Meanwhile, a new threat looms and he must team up with Hope van Dym (Evangeline Lilly) as she learns her powers as The Wasp.

5.) The Incredibles 2

Release Date: June 2018

After many years, The Incredibles is back for another sequel. As (Elastigirl) Elen Parr springs back into action, Bob Parr (Mr. Incredible) is facing another challenge–taking care of his three children. The hit Pixar film is making a stunning return with the original cast back at it again for the sequel.
