5 Horror Movies to look forward to this 2018

The list continues as we return to the top five films to look forward to this 2018! Now if the readers think that romance is too cheesy for their taste, how about something more gruesome and terrifying? Join us as we list down to the five most anticipated horror movies this year.


1.) Halloween (2018)

Release Date: October 19, 2018 (USA)

The popular horror classic Halloween returns as Jamie Lee Curtis reprises her role as Laurie Strode to confront the masked killer, Michael Myers one last time. It’s been awhile since Halloween made a triumphant return in the slasher franchise and with the return of Curtis as the lead, this is shaping up as one promising film.

2.) The Predator

Release Date: June 2017

Predator is back after its long hiatus in the silver screen. The film takes place between Predator 2 and Predators, where a group of marines are tasked on a mission that went horribly wrong. The film returned to its old school form of filmmaking similar to the original predator.(their is no official trailer yet so enjoy the motion poster)

3.) Hellraiser: Judgement

Release Date: February 13, 2018

Hellraiser is a bloody horror film created by Clive Barker. Hellraiser: Judgement surprised fans with the reveal of a new trailer to the gruesome classic. The story tells about Detectives Sean and David Carter who are on the case to hunt down a gruesome serial killer who is terrorizing the city, only to be led in a maze that draws them closer to hell.


4.) The Nun

Release Date: July 13, 2018

Fans of The Conjuring 2 are happy to know that the demon nun is back in her own movie. The Nun is about Vatican officials sending a priest and a novitiate to investigate the suicide of a young nun in Romania. They soon find themselves in a fight for their lives when they encounter a demonic force that takes the shape of a nun.

5.) Slender Man

Release Date: May 17, 2018

The hit horror videogame series that sparked YouTube’s ‘let’s play’ era finally got its own movie. Terror strikes when four teenage girls in a small town perform a ritual to debunk the lore of a tall, thin, horrifying figure known as the Slender Man. They soon fear that the legend is true when one of them suddenly goes missing. The trailer alone sparks a lot of buzz in the horror community as horror enthusiasts and fans alike are both excited and worried at the same time. Horror video game movies had a bad rap for the past few years, given their reputation. Hopefully, Slender Man can break that taboo and make something great.
